The updated Firefly w/ WiFi is absolutely incredible. It is marketed towards the average, buy/set/fire consumer, but its capabilities are matched to COBRA/Mongoose/FireTek on a equal to, or a slightly smaller scale. Software to shoot to music is already included in the package, and that's what attracted me to in the first place. If your a once a year, fuse lighting consumer, this is the product for you. If your a enthusiast, professional, multiple shoots a year pyro,this will serve you as well!

I've seen some concerns about it not working on Android, I experienced the same thing, however reading closer I realized you shouldn't connect over Bluetooth, rather with the WIFI network that the base creates. Join that WIFI network from your Android (or iOS) phone with the included password, then select the "FireFly Plus" selection. It worked immediately, and I was able to setup a quick demo show. This is for the newer models, not sure about older versions.

The hardware is great and has always worked very well, especially with the WiFi upgrade. However the app itself is absolutely garbage and needs to be completely updated. It has not changed for years and the show setup (the most important part) is so difficult to use I lose my mind everytime I try. What should take maybe 3 minutes to set up takes me an hour easily. You cannot reliably select the ignition timers and move them to where they need to be it just does not work well at all. Please fix.
