The updated Firefly w/ WiFi is absolutely incredible. It is marketed towards the average, buy/set/fire consumer, but its capabilities are matched to COBRA/Mongoose/FireTek on a equal to, or a slightly smaller scale. Software to shoot to music is already included in the package, and that's what attracted me to in the first place. If your a once a year, fuse lighting consumer, this is the product for you. If your a enthusiast, professional, multiple shoots a year pyro,this will serve you as well!

I've seen some concerns about it not working on Android, I experienced the same thing, however reading closer I realized you shouldn't connect over Bluetooth, rather with the WIFI network that the base creates. Join that WIFI network from your Android (or iOS) phone with the included password, then select the "FireFly Plus" selection. It worked immediately, and I was able to setup a quick demo show. This is for the newer models, not sure about older versions.

As a software developer, it's sad to see a neat product crippled by a horrible app. Images don't load for their 'catalog ' of fireworks. You cant create custom ones for product not in it. Videos dont exit of fireworks or the 'video player' doesnt support them? Creating a show is a huge pain. And good luck getting any permission with planning when a firework should launch. Wouldn't recommend this. great. now when I need it, it won't load the saved shows. thanks. this device has been horrible.
