The Hong Kong Ta Kung Wen Wei Media Group owns several newspapers, including *Ta Kung Pao* and *Wen Wei Po*, as well as the Ta Kung Wen Wei website, Hong Kong Wen Wei website, and multiple new media platforms and accounts covering mobile and social media. It is a patriotic and Hong Kong-loving all-media flagship organization with comprehensive media development, multi-business production, and full platform coverage, and is one of the media organizations with the largest daily newspaper circulation in Hong Kong. In the Hong Kong Newspaper Association's Best Journalism Awards, the Group's three newspapers have ranked first in Hong Kong for the total number of awards and first place for five consecutive years since 2019.

*Ta Kung Pao* was founded in Tianjin on June 17, 1902, and is the oldest existing Chinese-language newspaper. The name of the newspaper is interpreted as "To forget oneself is great; to be selfless is public-spirited." Ta Kung Pao has cultivated many talents for China's news and cultural undertakings and played an important role in promoting the progress of Chinese history. There is a saying in Chinese journalism history circles that "half of the history of journalism is Ta Kung Pao." Ta Kung Pao was awarded the "Outstanding Contribution to Journalism Award" by the University of Missouri's School of Journalism, the only Chinese-language media outlet to date to receive this honor. Wen Wei Po was founded in Shanghai in 1938 and resumed publication in Hong Kong on September 9, 1948. With the mission of "using literature to convey the Way and using information to promote national prosperity," it was a major channel for Hong Kong people to understand the policies of the central government and the situation on the mainland. For years, both newspapers have stood shoulder to shoulder with the motherland and Hong Kong, conveying China's voice, reporting Hong Kong news, and promoting Chinese culture to Chinese people worldwide, advocating for the successful implementation of "One Country, Two Systems" in Hong Kong.

In 2016, adapting to media transformation trends, the Group explored media convergence and established a multimedia news center, achieving full coverage of communication platforms, a full range of production methods, and full integration of the Group's media. Its active user base and website traffic have consistently ranked among the top in Hong Kong's new media industry.

The group has built its own platforms, including five websites (Ta Kung Wen Wei Po, Ta Kung Pao, Wen Wei Po, DotDotNews, and three mobile clients), and has also established a presence on third-party platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Weibo, WeChat, Bilibili, Douyin, TikTok, MeWe, and Quora, covering 15 million users and receiving more than 10 million daily pageviews, forming a multimedia communication pattern that integrates newspapers, websites, mobile apps, and social media. Meanwhile, relying on its central kitchen intelligent media system, the group has formed a unified command, integrated operation, and diversified dissemination model for news gathering and editing, enabling real-time, mobile, and immediate collection and distribution of news information. This allows for the production of a full range of content, including videos, audio, animations, posters, summary materials, drone content, and H5 pages.

Currently, the group produces hundreds of new media products daily, publishing them not only through its own platforms but also across more than 100 social media accounts, achieving widespread influence and dissemination among audiences in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and overseas.

The DaWen Group's news gathering and distribution network covers Hong Kong, mainland China, and overseas. The distribution of Ta Kung Pao and Wen Wei Po, along with their e-papers, covers nearly 90% of primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong, as well as all newsstands, convenience stores, major communities, housing estates, the eight tertiary institutions, major libraries, airport VIP lounges, and flights between Hong Kong and Beijing. The daily circulation of the three newspapers exceeds 200,000 copies. The group has news centers and reporter stations in first-tier cities in mainland China such as Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Shanghai, as well as in the Macau SAR, with its reporting network and distribution covering the entire mainland. The group also has a special printing point in Beijing to carry out high-end distribution, with the Ta Kung Pao and Wen Wei Po being delivered directly to the central party, government and military organs every day; the group also simultaneously publishes 37 overseas editions in countries such as the United States, Canada, France, South Africa, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, South Korea, Australia and Taiwan, with a circulation of nearly 2 million copies per issue, reaching readers across five continents.
