Not too comfortable It's OK to have minimum brightness in the darkness. But when I put the phone out of darkness to the electric lights in the kitchen the screen just slightly increase its brightness. Probably because I use in the kitchen power efficient lamps. Is it possible to add in settings manual graph setting how to change brightness depending on sensor values? Also there is no option to recalibrate app. It doesn't restore the content of its own window after rotation.
Finally I have installed and uninstalled this app Numerous times.. This time I see it is more simple and acually seems to work well... now.. More to come after a longer tryout.. I have the paid version. Galaxy S4
Almost Perfect This is a GREAT app. My screen is now easily readable in bright sun, in a dark theater, and everywhere else ... without wasting battery life. This is, by far, the best brightness utility I've found, but I'd like to see a few additional features: (1) Select whether the app should automatically start after a device reboot. (2) Select whether the app should start in auto or manual mode. (3) Create widgets for auto or specific brightness levels. (4) Adjust sensitivity of the auto setting.
Terrible! It does as advertised, but kills your battery!!! I bought and used on android 4.4 , it was battery draining. Now on 6.0 it's the same. Just plain terrible! Wish I could get a refund.
So far so good :) I am still trying to arrive at the optimal settings for my phone, but it does seem to be a very well made app...
