About this app

TL Grader turns a teacher's phone into an optical mark reader (OMR scanner). Hold the answer sheet in front of the camera and the app captures it by itself, reads every bubble and returns the score in about a second. No more checking answers one by one, no more typing marks into a spreadsheet.

WHY IT IS FAST

• Auto capture — line the four black corner squares up inside the frame and the app takes the shot on its own. You never touch the screen.
• Continuous grading — each sheet is saved automatically, the score and the list of wrong questions flash on screen, then the camera comes straight back for the next one. Work through a whole stack in one go.
• Automatic test-code detection — the app reads the test code printed on the sheet and picks the matching answer key. Mixed codes in one pile grade just fine; you do not have to sort them.
• Everything runs on the device. NO INTERNET NEEDED — useful in exam rooms with poor signal.

ANSWER YOUR STUDENTS ON THE SPOT

Every graded sheet keeps its photo, marked up right on the image: a green circle on the correct answer, a red circle where the student filled in the wrong bubble. Turn the screen around and the student sees it immediately.

Misread a faint pencil mark? Tap that question, fix it, and the score recalculates.

PLEASE NOTE

Accuracy depends on print quality, how darkly students fill the bubbles, and the lighting when you shoot. The app always keeps the sheet photo for you to check against, and lets you correct any question by hand. Please review results before publishing marks to students.
