About this game

Eternal Sin is a Diablo-like mini-game.
The core gameplay is simple: explore dungeons to fight bosses, get gear, learn skills, build different playstyles, and then challenge even tougher dungeon bosses.
Controls are also very simple — just drag the joystick to move, and the character will automatically cast skills to attack nearby enemies.
To make the game more interesting, while recreating classic Diablo designs we also borrow some experiences from Path of Exile:

[Room System]
Based on Path of Exile’s map ideas, each dungeon floor contains rooms of different star ratings and types, offering different experiences. Later on, rooms can be enhanced by the talent tree so you can customize dungeon routes and rewards.

[Skill Tree]
Built on the Diablo series’ foundation, we designed a simple, easy-to-understand skill tree. By combining nodes you can create and enjoy different builds.

[Legendary Items]
One of the most exciting parts of Diablo is the variety of powerful legendary drops. We’ve created many legendary items for you to choose and combine. Similar to Diablo IV, you can extract powers to customize your gear, and item powers are inherited without loss.

[Class Sets]
Our mid-to-late game leans more toward the Diablo III experience. Powerful class sets drive build design — you can choose, for example, an endless-charge “Charge” set or a single-target one-shot “Ancestral” set.

[Class Advancement]
Each class has two advanced specializations. After changing, you’ll lean toward different build directions and gain a new set of skills to try. Advanced classes can be switched at any time so you can experience different class playstyles. We will also introduce more fun classes in future updates.

It's a bummer because the actual gameplay and mechanics are cool. You have to create a build sufficient to clear the level and its boss. Which is pretty fun. The problem is with the onslaught of real money purchases the game bombards you with on the main screen. 2 stars taken away for that. Makes the game seem very pay2win. Hopefully, it's not, but there isn't much hope. It sucks to see a potentially good game ruined with slimy additions to rake in our money.

4 is probably a high rating, but I think it has a lot of unnecessary 1* reviews. it's an idle game, essentially. you do a run while the character auto attacks. he levels up, game pauses, you pick 1 of 3 random upgrades, mission continues. rinse and repeat until you clear the level. then you can equip and upgrade before the next run. calling it a rogue-like is very misleading. it's a pseudo idle game with identical missions that progress in difficulty.

nice 2D art style and animations. easy gameplay. auto battle with picking skill cards. battle speed locked behind pay wall. all game modes reskin of same battle. shop prices INSANELY high... specially given severely lacking content variation. $50 passes? on a simple 2D auto play? EXTREMELY greedy. uninstalled.
