About this app

Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) was formed on July 1, 1957 under section 54 of the Electricity (Supply) Act 1948 in the State of Tamil Nadu as a vertically integrated utility responsible for power generation, transmission and distribution.As per the provisions under the section 131 of the Electricity Act,2003 TNEB was restructured on 1.11.2010 into TNEB Limited; Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited (TANGEDCO); and Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation Limited (TANTRANSCO). Further TANGEDCO has changed its business name to Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (TNPDCL) and is effect from June 27th 2024.

I don't see any consumer details I added via website...they should be restored all those consumer details or fetch it according to the account. Previously we used to get details from username and password but now it made using mobile numbers. Now I added it again and it's very simple and easy to access the details.

I installed solely for viewing previous usage stats, but the feature isn't available. The app only includes complaint tab and payment tab, the later , available via other upi apps. I don't know how good the services served for complaint tab. This app may be useful for those who looking to raise complaint via online.

Application is not working properly for most of the time. Whenever trying to click on my bills option am getting invalid session and gets log out. Even if it shows my bills, when I click the consumer details to pay that bill, it says unable to process your request please check your internet connection and try again. I have a fibernet broadband with 100MBPS speed. Is that app required more than that speed, then better to use other channel to pay the bills. Frustrating whenever use this app.
