About this app

Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) was formed on July 1, 1957 under section 54 of the Electricity (Supply) Act 1948 in the State of Tamil Nadu as a vertically integrated utility responsible for power generation, transmission and distribution.As per the provisions under the section 131 of the Electricity Act,2003 TNEB was restructured on 1.11.2010 into TNEB Limited; Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited (TANGEDCO); and Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation Limited (TANTRANSCO). Further TANGEDCO has changed its business name to Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (TNPDCL) and is effect from June 27th 2024.

Ratings and reviews

a thoughtless team told the developer of the application to avoid the feature of sending a complaint online through the Application itself. They want only ratings by way of Feedback of the service. today I installed the app and paid the bill. there's no provision for feedback or complaint lodging. a partially useful app.

we don't have access to see our connection details, deposits, previous usages etc which was available in the old version. only if you want to pay bill, you can use it. other than that we can not get any bit of information in this app. I liked TNEB app. But accidentally, I deleted it.

nothing in this app, no.bill detail , no summary of previous bills. even now they have enabled receipts only... developer can take a note of the app of uppcl...
