Out of School Children Survey App – Tamil Nadu
The Out of School Children (OOSC) Survey App is a digital platform designed to support the
identification and tracking of children who are out of the formal education system across
Tamil Nadu.
Teachers and Block Resource Teacher Educators (BRTEs) in all blocks of the 38 districts will
use the app to survey students listed in the Common Pool and record their current status
along with the reasons for dropout.
The application enables accurate, real-time data collection and monitoring, helping the
Education Department take timely and targeted steps to bring every child back to school.
