I absolutely love this app. The quality of the recordings is far better than most and being able to select what audio track you want to hear make it easy to play along with. Having a visual indicator of where you're at while playing also helps immensely. The wide variety of available music with constant updates is nice too. The only con I can say is I love playing so much I run out of new songs to play. The library of songs could be bigger, but they are adding more frequently.

I think this application is covering a great idea but have a lot of execution issues. The user experience is pretty bad. Changing tempo with slide control when playing with a phone is terrible. Also there is not way to save settings. The cursor is pretty off when you are using a Bluetooth speaker and getting it in sync with sound is almost impossible. I remove it from appearing unchecking the checkbox but I need to do it for each piece I play. There is not way to set that as my default setting. The worse thing I found in the application that made me to cancel my subscription is the sound quality for violin pieces. It is annoying hearing big breaths on pauses or the beginning of a phrase for almost all romantic music. e.g to check: Edgar compositions. I don't know why they didn't filter out those breath sounds. Also, the sounds has for some pieces extra reverberation e.g Bach pieces. I hope they fixed these things and improve the sound quality. I will continue using without subscription with the pieces I got and I will re-asses it in a year to update my review.

Thanks for your feedback. We are sorry to hear you are not satisfied with Tomplay. We will be happy to answer to your technical issues (battery, change of tempo, latency etc) but we would need more details (and more than the 350 characters Google allows in our reply), could you contact our customer support please? Thanks https://tomplay.com/contact

Awesome! I've used this for 3 weeks now. The great catalog keeps me from having to buy a whole book evey time I want to try out a single song or the same song but on a differentinstrument. Accompaniment tracks are perfect and the overall tools are very helpful for sight reading and learning new pieces. I wish I had this years ago.

What's new

• We have added the option to show the note names on the visual instrument for saxophone, clarinet, flute, trumpet, oboe, and recorder (This option is already available for the other instruments)
• Get more information about the piece before you purchase it! Now you can also see the key and range in the score information section in the Shop.
• We have improved the design of the score information section in the Shop so it’s easier to read about the piece
