I'm not a musician, but I've always been keen on music. This app helped me understand musical concepts in a fun and engaging way. However, I think its real strength lies in the 'Muse' module, which claims to create music from your thoughts. That feature is truly fascinating!

Thank you Maryam! EEG features relating to states of mind are indeed well-established in neuroscience. Our "Muse" module allows users to link these scientifically recognised features to matching musical elements. It's not about reading your thoughts, but translating your brain’s measurable states into music. We hope you’ll give it a try!

The eeg features are incomplete. It should show each wavelength and allow me to train which wavelength I should like. Alpha, beta, valence, energy? Is that gamma and theta? Meaningless. Why is there 2 axis? Is each one for a separate hemisphere? I would like to be able to select what wavelength does what in which sensor for what hemisphere. For example, when gamma in the left raised bpm increases, I don't want to count the right gamma. Or the reverse. Alpha, beta not relevant, Gamma, theta are.

Thank you—this feedback is extremely valuable. Tonamic evolves precisely because of detailed insights like yours. We're actively improving our system (with more EEG features) and tooltips (to clarify their meanings), supporting both intuitive and specialised users alike. The updated app now includes all EEG bands with plots and sound cues.

What’s new

Improved melodic flow and more natural real-time evolution.
Better response to intensity and variability controls.
