ToneMaster focuses purely on tone RECOGNITION — no microphone needed, no awkward recording in public. Just listen, identify, and build an instinct for Mandarin's four tones plus the neutral tone.

Hear a word → tap the tone you think it is → get instant feedback with a tone contour diagram. It's that simple. No grammar, no writing drills — just pure tone ear training, the skill every Mandarin learner struggles with most.

★ TONE QUIZ ★

Listen to bundled Mandarin audio and pick the correct tone from five color-coded buttons (Tone 1/2/3/4/Neutral). Each session runs 10 questions, and every answer is scored per tone so you can watch your weakest tone improve over time.

★ MINIMAL PAIRS DRILL ★

The real test: hear two words that differ only in tone (like mā vs mǎ) and identify the pair pattern. 15 preset minimal pairs are bundled, and AI can generate fresh pairs on demand when you are online.

★ AUDIO FLASHCARDS ★

Tap a card to hear it and flip it → see the pinyin, character, and tone mark. 50 HSK Level 1 words are included, and cards you mark as hard are re-queued to the end of the deck so they come back before you finish.
