About this app

Tonga — Your travel, at your price

Tonga is the ride-sharing app that puts the power in your hands. Whether you're a passenger or a driver, negotiate your price, track your ride in real time, and travel safely, anywhere in the city and between cities.

A ride for every need

Tonga City — Your city rides, 24/7, starting at an affordable price
Tonga XL — More space for families or groups (up to 6-7 seats)
Tonga Freight — Tracked and insured parcel and goods delivery
Intercity Rides — Travel from one city to another by booking in advance
You set the price
Offer the fare you want to pay. Nearby drivers send you their offers: compare, choose the one that suits you, and you're off. No surprises, you're in control.

Real-time tracking
See your driver on the map, track their approach, route, and estimated time of arrival. Your loved ones can follow your ride for added peace of mind.

Stay connected
Chat directly with your driver or passenger using the integrated messaging system. Coordinate the meeting point instantly.

Pay the way you want
Cash, Airtel Money, Orange Money, or MVola: pay for your rides with the payment method that suits you best.

Trust and security
Rate your drivers and passengers after each trip. Drivers and vehicles are vetted before going into service. A dedicated security center monitors your journeys.

Are you a driver?
Join Tonga and earn money at your own pace. Receive requests in your area, set your price, manage your trips, and track your earnings at a glance. Switch from passenger to driver mode whenever you want.
