Neospiners is a conceptual arcade action game focused on coordination and reaction speed, set within the thematic environment of a busy construction site. The premise follows a dedicated builder tasked with restoring the workflow and completing a massive architectural project. To achieve this, the character must gather essential equipment while strictly avoiding objects that do not belong on the construction site.
The core mechanics center around horizontal movement. The main character, the builder, is positioned at the bottom of the screen and can only move left and right. From the top of the screen, various items begin to fall continuously. These falling items are divided into two distinct categories: useful construction objects and hazardous obstacles. The player's primary objective in Neospiners is to successfully collect as many useful items as possible to accumulate a high score, while skillfully maneuvering to avoid any collisions with the non-construction obstacles.
A strict health system is implemented to challenge the player's reflexes. The builder starts the session with exactly three lives. Every time an obstacle strikes the character, one life is immediately deducted. Once all three lives are lost, the construction shift ends, and the game is over. Any final score greater than zero is automatically saved in the records system. Additionally, Neospiners features an automatic pause function to ensure seamless state management. If the application is minimized or the player switches to another task, the gameplay pauses instantly. Upon returning to the game, the player resumes the action from the exact moment it was paused.
