[ HOW IT WORKS ]
● Play a Sweep
Tap Start Measurement and the app plays a tone that sweeps from 20Hz to 20kHz through your speaker or headphones.
● Listen and Analyze
While the sweep plays, your phone's microphone captures the sound and analyzes it in real time using FFT (fast Fourier transform) — the same signal analysis audio engineers use.
● Read the Curve
You get a relative response curve (0dB = your speaker's own average, not an absolute loudness standard) plus a plain-language verdict: bass-heavy, treble-heavy, mid-heavy, or balanced — along with where the low and high end start rolling off.
● Save and Compare
Name and save measurements so you can compare speakers, headphones, or rooms side by side.

[ IMPORTANT NOTES ]
This app measures relative frequency response, not absolute SPL or dB — your phone's microphone is not a calibrated measurement mic, so results are best used for comparing speakers or headphones to each other, not as lab-grade specs. It's built for external speakers and headphones; a phone's own built-in speaker is too close to the mic to measure meaningfully. Measure in a quiet room, about 30cm from the speaker, for the most reliable curve.
