About this app

Dropped your phone in water and now the speaker sounds muffled? This app plays a low tone that makes the speaker vibrate, which can help trapped water work its way out of the grille.

HOW IT WORKS
Tap the big button. A 165 Hz tone plays for 30 seconds and the speaker moves with it. Hold the phone with the speaker facing down so gravity can help as well.

TWO MODES
- Water: a steady low tone aimed at moving water
- Dust: a sweeping tone plus vibration that shakes loose lint and dust

TO GET MORE WATER OUT
Your setup matters more than you would think:
- Take off the case so nothing covers the speaker
- Turn the media volume all the way up
- Hold the phone with the speaker pointing down
- Run it two or three times

The app raises your media volume automatically and puts it back when the cycle ends. If headphones or a Bluetooth speaker are connected, it warns you first, because the sound would go there instead of your phone speaker.

BUILT SIMPLE
- No permissions at all
- Works offline
- One button, no setup, no account

WHAT THIS APP CAN AND CANNOT DO
It vibrates the speaker, which may help water sitting in the grille work its way out. Results vary with how much water there is and where it sits, and it cannot dry the inside of your phone.

If your phone was fully submerged, power it off and let it dry before anything else. This app is a small tool for a small problem, not a repair service. When in doubt, take the phone to a technician.
