About this app

PescaREC is the official application of the General Secretariat for Fisheries of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, designed to facilitate and centralize procedures related to recreational sea fishing in Spain.

The application allows users to easily and securely access digital services linked to this activity, reducing in-person procedures and improving interaction with the Public Administration.
Through PescaREC, you can:

• Submit catch declarations for species caught in recreational sea fishing using different methods (shore, underwater, boat, and floating craft).

• Check your current fishing licenses.

• Request specific authorizations for fishing for specially protected species.

• Consult lists of species, minimum sizes, and their specific requirements.

• Represent and/or be represented by a third party, so that any procedure can be carried out by another person or entity authorized by any holder of a valid recreational fishing license.

• Receive relevant official notices and communications. • Facilitate compliance with administrative obligations digitally.
PescaREC has been designed following usability, accessibility, and security criteria, guaranteeing the protection of personal data in accordance with current regulations.
PescaREC is a free, public tool that forms part of the digitization process of the services of the General State Administration.
