Torado has no advertising: no banners, no pop-ups, nothing between you and your photos. No account, no sync, no tracking.

GROUP BY ORIENTATION

Put the portrait photos first, or the landscape ones. This works in All Files, in folders and in playlists.

SLIDESHOWS OF ONLY PORTRAIT OR ONLY LANDSCAPE

Show only portrait photos, only landscape photos, or both. Hold the phone upright and you get the upright shots filling the screen properly, not small in the middle of a landscape screen. Every folder and every playlist keeps its own slideshow settings: set them once, then press play.

TAP AND SWIPE, YOUR WAY

Choose what a double tap, a triple tap and a four-tap do on a photo: zoom, delete, copy, move, share, and more. Clean out a folder fast by double-tapping the photos you don't want.

Swipe down on a photo to close it. For each of the three parts of the screen, choose what a swipe up or down does, including changing the brightness.

ANIMATED WEBP AND GIF

Torado plays animated WebP and GIF files as animations in the viewer. In a slideshow, an animation can play to its end instead of being cut off when the timer runs out.

SMART PLAYLISTS

Build a playlist from rules instead of dragging files around. Pick one folder or several, match part of a filename, match a tag, or grab everything added in the last few days. Any rule can include or exclude. The playlist keeps itself up to date as your library changes.

BROWSE AND SEARCH

See your whole library at once, or go folder by folder the way the files really sit on your device. Sort by date taken, date modified, name or file size, in either direction. Search by file name or by tag, and see how many photos match. Torado loads fast, even with a large library.

A VIEWER YOU CAN SHAPE

A photo does not have to sit on plain black. Pick the colour behind it and choose how that colour is drawn: an edge glow around the picture, a gradient, or a flat background.

- Instant restore: undo a delete, move or copy right from the viewer, without going to the Bin
- Resume slideshow: pick a slideshow back up on the exact photo you left it on
- Tag files: go through a folder photo by photo and tag as you sort, with the tags written into the photos themselves
- Shrink: make photos smaller to free up space, and choose which shrunk copies replace the originals

Tagging is what makes playlists worth building. Tag once, then let a rule collect everything with that tag, across folders, no matter where the files are or what they are called.

You can try the tagger for free before buying. It works exactly as it does with Pro; it just does not save.

PRIVACY

Torado has no servers. Your photos never leave your device, and there is nothing for anyone to collect. No advertising, no analytics, no accounts.

Torado needs access to your photos for the obvious reason: it is a gallery. It cannot show, sort or organise a library it cannot read.
