Torchly is a precision flashlight and emergency lighting utility engineered to do one thing brilliantly while respecting your privacy completely. Tap once for instant light, control hardware brightness levels, transmit distress signals, or illuminate your environment with calibrated screen tones.

Torchly requires ZERO camera, location, or contact permissions. Modern Android APIs allow hardware torch control without granting access to your optical sensors.

• HARDWARE TORCH CONTROL
Instant toggle with hardware state synchronization. Direct access to Android 13+ multi-level LED brightness on supported devices.

• BATTERY GUARD & AUTO-OFF
Set an automatic timer (5 to 60 minutes) to prevent accidental battery drain. Smart low-battery cutoff automatically switches off when your device battery reaches 15%.

• PHOTOSENSITIVE SAFE STROBE
Configurable strobe frequencies with active Safety Mode enabled by default (capped at 3 Hz to adhere to WCAG 2.3.1 photosensitivity standards). Unlocked high-frequency strobe available with explicit safety acknowledgment.

• EMERGENCY DISTRESS SIGNALS (SOS & SIREN)
One-tap international Morse SOS (··· --- ···) optical signal. High-decibel audio siren sweep (600 Hz - 1200 Hz) combined with emergency optical pulsing for roadside emergencies.

• TEXT-TO-MORSE TRANSMITTER
Convert any text message into ITU-standard Morse code. Transmit visually via the LED flash, through high-contrast screen flashes, or as a 700 Hz acoustic tone. Adjustable transmission speeds from 5 to 25 WPM.

• CALIBRATED SCREEN & RING LIGHT
Turn your entire display into a clean, uniform light source. Accurate Kelvin color temperature reproduction (Tanner Helland algorithm): Warm Amber (2700K), Neutral White (4000K), Daylight (6500K), Night-Vision Red, and Soft Cyan. Includes an adjustable Ring Light mode for video calls.
