Toshiba Smart Center is a mobile application developed for Toshiba Smart televisions.

Enjoy the convenience of easily controlling your TV from your smartphone with the app's renewed interface. With the help of Smart Center, information about program broadcasting and program details are always at hand. You can record broadcast programs to watch later(*), set reminders for programs, and share content on your mobile phone with your TV.

In order to use your mobile application, please check the following steps;
1. Make sure your TV is connected to the internet
2. Make sure "Virtual Remote" is turned on in your TV's settings.
3. Make sure your mobile phone is connected to the same WiFi network with your TV.
After checking these steps, go to the Add TV step and repeat the process from the beginning.

Ratings and reviews

I don't usually rate apps, can't really see the point, but given my remote gave up the ghost, I thought I'd give this app another go. The previous iteration was awful and didn't work at all, but this version is excellent. Worked out the gate, very responsive, and has everything you need. My old remote can get in the landfill.

No idea what this app is for unless you've no remote maybe. The TV guide just has BBC Parliament and CBS Reality, that's all! On the home page none of the area channels open so it's unfortunately useless. I can't actually choose a programme to watch! Better rename it 'Toshiba Not So Smart TV Centre' (and spell centre correctly for the UK to show some respect maybe).

The app supplied on 1st December 2019 does not seem to bear any relation to that described by the top favourable review. Where is the Alexa button - supposed to be on top right of screen. If you drop the menu from the top left corner, the smart tv button is unresponsive. Not impressed, certainly does not do what it says on the page. Sorry null points. Does the management have any comments.???
