This app is exclusively for TOTAL BIENES SAS employees. It can only be installed and used under the direct instruction of the employer. Employees receive the app through an onboarding process where they are explicitly informed about how the tracking system works.
How does tracking work?
- GPS tracking is activated only during the working hours configured by the administrator (for example, Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM).
- Outside of working hours, tracking stops automatically. No location data is collected outside of the assigned shift.
- When tracking is active, the employee will always see a visible notification on their device indicating "GPS Tracking active." This notification cannot be hidden or deleted while the service is running, ensuring full transparency.
- The administrator can remotely extend the shift schedule (for example, in the case of overtime or a collection outside of regular hours). In that case, the notification changes to "Forced Tracking Active (admin)" so the employee is always aware that they are being monitored and who requested it.
What data is collected?
- GPS coordinates (latitude, longitude, accuracy, speed, and altitude).
- Device battery level and status.
- Type of physical activity (stationary, walking, in a vehicle, etc.).
- The data is stored on TOTAL BIENES SAS's secure servers and is used exclusively for internal operational management.
Privacy and Consent
- The employee is informed about the tracking before installing the application.
- No data is shared with third parties or used for advertising purposes.
- The employee can contact TOTAL BIENES SAS HR at any time to request information about the collected data.
