TotalSecure Tablet Tracker is a purpose-built vehicle tablet application
designed for school bus fleet management. Installed on 7-8 inch Android tablets
mounted inside school buses, it delivers continuous GPS tracking and RFID-based
student attendance monitoring to keep schools, operators, and parents informed
in real time.

GPS Tracking
Continuous background GPS location reporting with real-time accuracy monitoring.
The dashboard displays live coordinates, speed, altitude, and bearing. A visual
accuracy meter shows signal quality so drivers and administrators always know
the reliability of position data.

RFID Student Attendance
Connects to USB RFID card readers to scan student ID cards as they board and
exit the bus. Each scan is timestamped and linked to the vehicle's GPS position,
providing a complete record of when and where each student was picked up or
dropped off.

Offline-First Reliability
Built for real-world conditions where network coverage is inconsistent. All GPS
positions and RFID scan events are stored locally in an on-device database. When
connectivity is available, data syncs automatically to your management server.
A smart retry system with circuit breaker logic prevents battery and data waste
when the server is temporarily unreachable.

Dashboard
A clean, minimal status screen gives drivers and supervisors an at-a-glance view
of three critical systems: GPS status, RFID reader status, and data sync queue.
Tap the GPS card for detailed metrics, including speed, accuracy, altitude,
bearing, and coordinates.

Designed for Vehicle Use
The interface is optimised for landscape orientation with large touch targets,
high-contrast status indicators, and minimal distraction. Drivers can confirm
system health with a single glance without taking attention away from the road.

Security
Settings and configuration are protected behind a PIN entry screen. Server
Credentials are stored securely on the device.
