About this app

Touchbud Play+ is the screen app of Touchbud, a digital signage service for businesses. Install it on the device that drives a screen – a TV box, an Android display, a tablet or a phone – and it shows, full-screen, the images, videos, web pages and info modules that your company assigns to that screen in the Touchbud web admin.

WHAT THE APP DOES
• Plays playlists full-screen in a loop: images, videos, web pages and modules such as clock, QR code, countdown, menu board, weather or Google Calendar.
• Keeps playing without a network connection: the content is stored on the device.
• Starts again by itself after a power cut or a crash, so an unattended screen does not stay black.
• Synchronised screens: several screens change slides at the same moment, so a video wall or a multi-part shop window reads as one picture.
• Touch kiosk: turns a touch screen into an interactive terminal, for example for room information, queue numbers or a product catalogue.
• Operating hours: the screen can go dark outside your opening hours.

HOW TO SET UP A SCREEN
1. Install the app and open it. It shows a sign-in form and the device code of this screen (TB-XXXX-XXXX).
2. Sign in with your company name and screen PIN, or add the device code in the Touchbud web admin.
3. Assign a playlist in the web admin. The screen starts playing within seconds and picks up every later playlist change automatically.

WHO IT IS FOR
Shops and shop windows, cafés and restaurants, hotels, offices, coworking spaces, waiting rooms and trade-fair stands.

ACCOUNT
The app is the player only: screens and content are managed in the Touchbud web admin, which needs a Touchbud company account. The app contains no ads and no in-app purchases.

Runs on Android 7 and later.
