Phosphor puts a live cursor on your Android TV or Android box so your phone can tap what a D-pad cannot.
A cheap box remote can only walk: Back, Home, arrows. Settings, on-screen keyboards, and many apps wait for a tap at a pixel. Phosphor draws that cursor on this TV. Phosphor Remote on your phone is the trackpad.
TWO APPS, ONE SCAN
This TV app is free. It does not work alone. Install Phosphor Remote on a phone, stay on the same Wi‑Fi, and scan the QR on this screen.
WHAT THIS TV APP DOES
• Pairing QR so the phone can find this box on your LAN
• Cursor overlay so you can see where the phone is pointing
• Accessibility taps, long-press, and keys at that cursor
• In-app player for photos, videos, and playlists sent from the phone
• Screen capture so you can mirror this TV on the phone when you cannot read the box from the couch
• Back / Home that keep Phosphor available instead of killing the link
WHAT THE PHONE APP ADDS
Trackpad, Back/Home/OK/volume, YouTube-style D-pad, wake and sleep, named TVs, audio and video playlists, gallery cast, and TV screen mirror. Billing is only in Phosphor Remote. Google Play charges a monthly subscription there. This TV listing never charges.
HOW TO LINK
1. Install Phosphor on the TV. Leave it open.
2. Allow overlay (cursor) and Accessibility when Android asks. That is the only way a phone can tap what is on this box.
3. Install Phosphor Remote on your phone and subscribe there if Play asks.
4. Scan this QR from the phone. Same Wi‑Fi.
5. Slide on the phone. The cursor moves here. Tap lands on the pixel you meant.
PRIVACY
Control, cast, and mirror stay on your local Wi‑Fi. There is no Phosphor account and no Phosphor cloud for your screen or files. Google Play handles payment if you subscribe on the phone.
