About this game

Toxic Lab is a fast, one-thumb balance game set inside a biohazard containment lab.

A glowing ooze orb creeps forward on its own along a narrow hazard line strung over an open acid pit. The orb always travels on a 45-degree diagonal, and the line keeps kinking ahead of you. Your only control is a tap: every tap flips the orb ninety degrees -- from up-right to up-left and back. Time each tap so the ooze hugs the line as it zigzags deeper into the chamber. Miss a kink and drift off the edge, and the ooze spills into the acid below -- sample lost.

Glowing green globs cling to the line between kinks. Roll the orb straight through them for a wet pop and bonus points, and sweep as many as you can while you keep your balance. Your score is the distance you run plus every glob you grab, so the farther and cleaner your run, the higher you climb.

Each of the ten samples runs hotter than the last, with shorter runs between kinks and less room to mistime a flip. Read the line ahead, tap early rather than late, and work your way to a fully sealed lab. Every run of a sample is generated from the same seed, so you can learn its rhythm and chase a deeper best score.
