This app elegantly does everything it promises. I had an installation issue whereby the VT View Source fired up rather than the browser when I was clicking on links in various app's documents. I emailed the developer for advice and got a fast reply. He showed me how to Clear Defaults in the VT View apps settings. Problem solved. If only paid for app's support were that efficient!
Doesn't really do half of what is supposed to, and on to of that it flat out read the code wrong. Like there were small discrepancies between the html it showed and the actual html that I'm looking at on desktop
Really Useful Tool Besides offering inspection of a web page's source code, it allows me to download stuff which no other app handles correctly. While it would be nice if it would read local files too (including json) it still deserves its 5 stars.
It doesn't allow you to view local HTML files A real let down but still this app still comes in handy.
URL from Clipboard Great app! Love the color coding. It would be nice, if, when the app launches, it would check the Clipboard for a copied URL and place it in the Address field.
Very useful tool. I like that stylesheets are clickable links so you can easily see the CSS being loaded by a page. It's also quite nice that there's an option that automatically sends the current URL to W3 validators—and it automatically knows to send CSS pages to a CSS validator, instead of an HTML one. Nice!
