About this app

Strobily is the most accurate strobe light app on Android.

Features include:
- Millisecond precision LED flashing
- Flashing to the beat of music
- Pattern flashing
- Audio tachometer mode
- Torch/flashlight mode
- Burst mode
- Adjustable duty cycle
- Flashing with screen off

The newest feature in this app is its ability to flash to the beat of music. This is great for parties because strobe lights make music more fun!

The primary feature of this app though is its extremely accurate stroboscope ability. Uses include everything from checking the RPM of your car engine, to calibrating a record turntable, and even to finding the speed of a spinning fan. With millisecond accuracy and adjustable duty cycle, spinning objects can be made to appear stationary.

The LED will continue to flash even if you quit the app, this makes it perfect for use when you need to be visible at night. Mount your phone on your bike or carry it with you walking so that cars will be able to see you clearly.

The new audio tachometer feature allows your phone to listen to a repeating sound and discover the fundamental frequency plus any harmonics. Then with a simple button press, you can flash the LED at that frequency and watch everything freeze.

Finally, the new pattern section allows you to flash your LED in any pattern you desire. With saving and importing, highly complex patterns can be programmed.

Give it a try! There's something for everyone. Whether you're a technical person or a partygoer, this is the strobe light app you want.

A quick note about different phone hardware: This app works flawlessly on some phones and pitifully on others. Before you say "this app is crap" send me an email and I'll see if I can get it working on your phone.

More strobe than I asked for! An absolutely fantastic strobe app. I use it to view zoetropes made with 3D printing, so I need a precise frame rate and short duration. This app delivers total control in a great GUI. The strobe is via camera LED in my case, and 30Hz / 10% duty cycle is spot on. The app does way more than that though: tachometer, turntable calibration, music strobe synced to the beat. The ability to create preset widgets and smooth frequency control is great too.

Turns your phone's camera flash into a strobe light. It's extremely bright, which is my favorite aspect of this strobe light. Another strobe app I used just alternated my phone's flashlight, which was not nearly as bright. This app also doesn't have obnoxious ads, and you can save your settings. My biggest wish: I wish there was more of an ability to alternate the time of camera flashes. I dont see it. I got this app to protect myself from some angry stray dogs at night. Hopefully I wont need it

Best strobe app. Completely FREE!! Really free. No credit card no in app purchases no adds to be removed. This is the real deal free strobe. Very rare for an app to be truly honestly free. No catches no buts no bull. I take pride in my reviews for being true and accurate. Try this strobe app you won't be disappointed. It has way more settings then you will ever need. This isn't some bare bones free strobe app. This baby is loaded with options and settings. ENJOY!!!
