Trace Nodes is a path puzzle. Coloured dots sit in pairs on a grid. Drag from one dot to its twin and a path follows your finger, square by square, never diagonally.
The catch is the second rule: when you are done, not a single square may be left empty. Joining the pairs any old way is easy; joining them so the paths cover the whole board is the puzzle. Paths give way when you draw over them, and dragging backwards along your own path shortens it, so trying an idea costs nothing.
Every board in Trace Nodes was built by cutting the grid into paths and then checked by a solver that tries every possible filling. A board shipped only if it has exactly one. There is no second valid answer and nothing to guess.
Ten boards, from five pairs on a small grid to nine on a large one. Each board is fixed to its level, so the one that beat you is the same one when you come back.
