TRACK is your digital hiking guide for the Painters' Way – with an audio guide that tells the story precisely when things get interesting and remains silent otherwise.

As soon as you reach a special place, the story starts automatically. No need to tap, navigate, or stop. Hands free, ears open, eyes on the world.

The stories arrive just in time for each highlight – and end before you even arrive. This way, the "wow" moment is all yours. Between listening stations, the app intentionally remains silent to give nature space to breathe.

Over 120 points of interest along all 8 stages tell the story of nature, culture, and history of Saxon Switzerland for several hours. Authentic, curated, and without filler – just in time for the 20th anniversary of the Painters' Way, in cooperation with the Saxon Switzerland Tourism Association.

TRACK works completely offline. Download it once, listen anywhere – even where your signal drops. Maps, elevation profiles, and all stage details are available at any time. The route guidance in the app is intentionally minimal—so you can focus on the wild and romantic landscape that captivated the Romantic painters.

Version 1.3.0 – Neu: der Tagestourenplaner

Sag, wann du losmöchtest – die App plant Anreise (Bus/Bahn oder Auto mit Parkplatz), Etappe und Rückfahrt. Sie rechnet mit deinem Tempo und den Höhenmetern, damit du die Verbindung zurück auch erreichst. Umgekehrt: Rückfahrt festlegen, Startzeit bekommen. Alles änderbar, Verspätungen siehst du unterwegs sofort.
