About this app

Milepost is simple, honest GPS tracking for small business teams: couriers, trades, farms, delivery drivers and field staff. Everyone on your team shows on one live map, and you can see where they have been, when they arrive and when they leave.

Two roles cover the whole job. Track users switch tracking on and get on with their day. Hub users see everyone live, review routes and run the team.

LIVE TEAM MAP
• Every tracked person on one map, updating as they move
• Pins coloured by group, with speed and direction shown
• Online and offline at a glance, with last update and battery level
• Tap anyone for status, group, speed and when they last reported

ROUTE HISTORY
• Replay the route anyone took over the last 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days
• History is kept for 30 days and then deleted automatically
• Export tracking data to CSV for timesheets, mileage or client records

ZONES AND ALERTS
• Draw zones around depots, offices, sites and customer addresses
• Get alerts when someone arrives at or leaves a zone
• Apply a zone to everyone or to one group only
• Choose which alerts you get, with separate controls for push notifications

TEAMS, GROUPS AND SEATS
• Invite people with a join code or link
• Organise people into named, colour-coded groups and filter the map by group
• More than one Hub per organisation, and every Hub sees every device
• Hubs can track their own phone too
• Manage the team from a web dashboard too, including emailing invites to a whole team at once
• Deactivate a leaver in one tap; their access ends on the server

ACCURATE, BATTERY-AWARE TRACKING
• Choose how often location is sent: Live (every second), 5 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute or 5 minutes
• Inaccurate fixes are filtered out and the track is smoothed, so routes stay clean
• When someone is parked, history pauses instead of filling up with the same point
• A persistent notification shows whenever tracking is running

TRACKING STAYS IN THE USER'S HANDS
• Only the person carrying the phone can start or stop their own tracking. There is no remote switch.
• Location is shared only while tracking is switched on
• Everyone is told, in the app, that their organisation may be alerted when they arrive at or leave a marked place

BUILT PROPERLY
• Each organisation's data is kept separate, enforced by server-side security rules
• Location data is stored and processed in the UK (London)
• No ads, no analytics trackers and no advertising ID
• Delete your account at any time from Settings, or from our website

PLANS
Every organisation starts with a 14-day free trial, with no card needed to start. The base plan includes 1 Hub seat and 3 Track seats. Add seats in packs as your team grows, on monthly or annual billing. Subscriptions are managed by the organisation owner.
