About this game

Numberfeud is Scrabble with numbers.

You get a rack of digits and operators. You place them on the board to build an equation that is actually true — 3+4=7 — reading left to right or top to bottom. Your opponent answers on the same board. Whoever uses the board best wins.

THE RULE THAT MAKES IT A GAME

The whole line you form has to be a complete, true equation. Not a fragment, not almost. If it isn't, the move is simply refused and you lose nothing — pick the tiles back up and find a better line. The game is never about luck with the bag. It's about seeing the equation that was already there.

WHAT YOU PLAY WITH

• Digits 0–9 and the operators + − × ÷ = ^ and square root
• ♦️ wildcards that stand for any operator — and score as the best one you could have meant
• Coloured squares that double or triple a single tile, or the entire equation
• A 15×15 board that starts with a number in the middle, so the first move is already interesting

WAYS TO PLAY

• Against the bot, offline, no account needed — it plays properly, it doesn't go easy on you
• Against a random opponent, matched on rating
• Against a friend: find them by name, or invite someone who isn't on Numberfeud yet
• Turn by turn, at your own pace — play a move now, the next one tomorrow

AND

• Chat with your opponent while you play
• A rating that moves with every result, and a leaderboard
• A notification when it's your turn
• Report or block any player, from the chat or their profile
• Phones and tablets
