Traeger, when trying to connect a grill. Your app sucks. I've had 2 Traeger grills in 5 years. Every once in a while, they lose connection with my home wifi. When trying to reconnect. I follow all your directions to a T. I get a message saying "Oops something went wrong." I'm following your directions. It's obvious your app or something else has issues and needs addressed. If you want to be the best in the world. Make all your stuff work like it's the best in the world.

Yet another completely trash update from Traeger. Will NOT connect grill to wifi no matter what you do. Gets to the point where it says "sending password to grill" kills the phones wifi and thats it.....no matter what you do to try and enjoy this smoker Traeger screws you over at every turn. if you can not connect try this.. go to the app in your settings menu, go to storage used, delete cache and data, close and reopen app., log in and try to connect. Not fool proof but seems to help sometimes.

I like having the wifi, But why the heck don't you have something as simple as temp and thermometer offsets? It's dumb I have to adjust manually everytime. Heck you could prompt for recalibration once a manual has been set, even explain in the app. It's could just be an app thing and If the unit you own supports it, then set in device after calibration per unit! Also loading a recipe needs to be more intuitive. Frankly it's just easier to run manually with temp prob. So app only rating is a 2.5
