The Traffic Monitoring App is a smart, integrated platform specifically designed for major Saudi cities (Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Mecca, and Medina) to help drivers make better and faster decisions during their daily commutes.
The Problem: Drivers suffer daily from traffic congestion, sudden accidents, and unexpected road closures, leading to wasted time and fuel, and increased stress. Most existing apps do not provide accurate local road information or do not fully support the Arabic language.
The Solution: The app provides a live, interactive map displaying real-time traffic conditions with clear colors: green for smooth traffic, orange for moderate congestion, red for heavy congestion, and gray for closed roads. Data is automatically updated every minute to ensure the most up-to-date information.
Key Features:
1. Smart Search and Navigation: Users can search for any location (restaurants, hospitals, mosques, gas stations) and receive results sorted by proximity. Once a destination is selected, the app automatically calculates the fastest route, displaying the distance, estimated time, and detailed turn-by-turn directions in Arabic. It also provides live navigation that tracks location, speed, and remaining distance to arrival. 2. Favorite Routes and Places:
The app allows users to save important routes or places to a favorites list for quick access. Users can monitor the status of all their favorite routes on a single screen and receive instant notifications when their status changes (e.g., when a route becomes congested).
3. Smart Notification System (Under Development):
The app learns from user behavior and detects frequently visited places (home, work, university) and usual commuting times. It sends proactive notifications before the expected departure time, including anticipated road conditions and suggestions for faster alternative routes when there is congestion on the usual route.
4. Weather Information:
The app displays the temperature and live weather conditions for the current location or selected city, with automatic updates every 10 minutes. This helps with trip planning and avoiding driving in adverse weather conditions.
5. Accident Reporting:
Users can easily report accidents, traffic jams, or road closures to help others avoid traffic problems.

A fully Arabic interface with a modern and user-friendly design.
