Ratings and reviews

No complaints but a request: please add an "are you sure you want to finish this track?" pop up or similar when hitting "finish track" like other similar apps have. I cannot be the only one out there who accidentally hits "finish track" instead of "pause recording" on occasion and it's frustrating as there's no way (that I've seen) to be able to undo that.

No longer worth using. Used to be my favorite but now, most of the nice features which are free on other apps, are behind an expensive ($60/year) subscription. No offline maps, folders, or default track recording settings available unless you subscribe which, even with the sub, you don't get default track settings anymore. The subscription features aren't worth the high cost and since offline tracking is free in other off-road apps, will be switching to those. was great and an app I used to rec

Edit: the enshittification has progressed to not even let you make routes on the free version. Use Caltopo, Gaia GPS is no longer a good app. Original review: Used to be a 5 star app, but ever since the Outside Inc acquisition it's been gradually getting made worse and worse. As of a week ago, it now can't even snap to trails to make routes. It will look like it's snapping while mapping it, but after saving the snapping is undone and Gaia draws straight lines with no elevation data.
