Good idea, but needs more work. The map constantly zooms around when trying to find a route. You can't rewind commentary if you want to revisit something or realise you are looking at the wrong thing. If you accidentally come out of the walk you are doing there's no easy way back in. Plus some typos which can easily be corrected. Good idea, but I spent a lot of time trying to get back into the walk rather than enjoying the walk.

Thank you for your appraisal. Can you please write to me using the 'contact' on our website, to share which route did you use? Please note that not all the routes are TrailTale's, but are hosted by us. Thank you.

We've been using the app for lockdown walks round London. We've both lived here for many years and love exploring the city. We love Trail Tales, the walks are interesting and always take us to nooks and crannies we've never been before. We find the audio narrator charming, but her unfamiliarity with what she is reading and misprounciations can be a distraction. Might be worth rerecording with a more confident voiceover. Netherless we had a lovely time doing the Towers tour today. :)

Thank you very much for choosing TrailTale. I'm glad you enjoy these walks, please try our other London, and outside London routes. The recording you mention, indeed needs redoing. It was our first and later ones were are better. At the time we have used our own staff for narrating, so maybe a bit microphone shy.

Just downloaded this after seeing an advert on another app! But quite disappointing that there still not much in Yorkshire area, saw a review saying the same 4 YEARS AGO! So why hasn't there been any progress to put more in this area? Which has some really amazing places! So for that I'm uninstalling for now but I'll check back next year to see if you put more in my county!

Hello Kelly-Anne, I am sorry I can't provide more trails in Yorkshire, although we added two fantastic new trails in York itself. We are working hard with local councils to create new trails and it does take time. I do suggest you try our other trails as well, we have 153 trails around GB.
