About this app

Tramwayn is the public transport app in Algeria, built by users, for users. Find your bus or tram line, discover stops near you, plan your journeys, and track buses live, all for free, in French, Arabic, and English.

Tramwayn is an independent app. It does not represent the Algerian government, any wilaya, any transport authority, or any public operator such as ETUSA, SETRAM, the Algiers Metro Company (EMA), SNTF or SOGRAL.

Important: the bus information displayed in Tramwayn — routes, stop coordinates, connections between lines and stops, transfers, and journey planning data — does not come from an official operator map or a complete official public register. Algerian bus networks include services run by public companies as well as many services run independently or by private operators.

The transit dataset displayed in the app is an independent compilation built by the Tramwayn community through in-app contributions, based on field observation and personal mapping. It is provided for informational purposes only and may be incomplete or outdated — always verify with the official operator before traveling.

• All bus and tram lines in your city, with their routes on the map
• The complete list of stops for each line
• For each stop, the lines that serve it

SCHEDULES
• The days and times of operation for each line
• The frequency of service indicated by the community

LIVE POSITIONS
• See buses moving on the map in real time
• Positions are shared anonymously by other passengers on board
• At the stop, see arriving buses and their estimated time
• On the bus? Share your journey with a simple gesture to help others — it's anonymous and you can stop at any time.

A COMMUNITY-MAINTAINED MAP
The network evolves, and so does the map. Users suggest changes (new stops, routes, schedules); everyone can view pending changes, compare versions on the map, vote, and comment. Approved contributions benefit everyone.

YOUR CITY
Tramwayn covers several Algerian cities and is constantly expanding. Is your city missing or is some information incorrect? Report it directly from the app.
