About this app
Callyx shows you who is calling before you answer, keeps the numbers you don't want away from your phone, and saves the message notifications you missed so nothing important slips past you.
It is built around one idea: your phone book and your messages are yours. Callyx matches callers against the contacts already on your device and stores everything it shows you locally — there is no Callyx account and no Callyx server holding your data.

Type or paste any number and Callyx checks it against your saved contacts, then tells you whether it belongs to someone you know or is still unknown.
Spam list and block list
Build your own lists of unwanted numbers. Set Callyx as your default caller ID and spam app on Android 10 or newer, and incoming calls from those lists are silenced or rejected for you — even when Callyx is not open.
Unseen messages
With your permission, Callyx uses Android notification access to keep a local record of incoming chat notifications from apps such as WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram and Telegram. You can read what arrived without opening the conversation, and clear the list whenever you like.
Filter by app
Switch between everything you missed and a single messenger with one tap.
Contacts, organised
Browse all your contacts or just the ones Callyx has identified, search by name or number, and place a call straight from the row.
Favourites and keypad
Keep the people you call most within reach and dial any number from the in-app keypad.
Themes
Choose the accent colour you like and the whole app restyles around it.
22 languages
Including English, Vietnamese, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Turkish, Arabic, Hindi, Bengali, Urdu, Indonesian, Malay, Filipino, Thai, Japanese, Korean and Chinese.

Turn on an optional local reminder so you remember to check what you missed.
WHO IT IS FOR
Anyone who gets calls from numbers they don't recognise, keeps a list of numbers they would rather never hear from again, or reads chat notifications on a busy phone and loses track of what arrived.
PERMISSIONS AND WHY CALLYX ASKS
Contacts (read only) — to match a number with the name saved on your phone. Your contacts are read on the device and are not uploaded.
Phone — to place a call when you tap the call button.
Notification access — to list message notifications in the Unseen tab. Those notifications are stored only on your phone and you can delete them at any time.
Default caller ID and spam app role — to silence or reject calls from your spam and block lists.
Notifications — to deliver the reminders you switch on.
You can decline any of these; the features that depend on them simply stay off.
FREE, SUPPORTED BY ADS
Callyx is free to download and free to use. It is funded by ads, shown as banners, native placements and full-screen ads between actions. There is no subscription and no in-app purchase. If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, the consent form on first launch lets you choose how ads are personalised.
IMPORTANT NOTES
Caller identification works from the contacts stored on your device. Callyx has no global directory of phone numbers, so a caller who is not in your contacts is shown as unknown.
Call blocking requires Android 10 or newer and Callyx set as your default caller ID and spam app. Until you grant that role, numbers on your lists are stored but calls are not screened.
Callyx does not read your SMS messages and does not use your call log.
Notification access is used only for the Unseen tab. Callyx does not send, reply to or forward messages.
