About this app
Sentrik shows you who is calling before you pick up, keeps the numbers you have blocked off your line, and gathers the messages you have not opened yet — in one app, handled on your device.
Every incoming number is matched against the contacts already saved on your phone, so a familiar number arrives with a name instead of a row of digits. Numbers you flag as spam or add to your block list are turned away by Android's own call screening service once you set Sentrik as your default caller ID & spam app.
KEY FEATURES
- Caller ID from your contacts: incoming and searched numbers are matched against your saved contacts and shown with the name attached.
- Number lookup: type any number into the Tracker tab to check whether it belongs to someone in your contacts.
- Spam list and block list: add numbers yourself, keep the two lists separate, and remove an entry whenever you change your mind.
- Call screening: as your default caller ID & spam app, Sentrik declines or silences calls from the numbers on those lists.
- Unseen messages: notifications you have not opened yet are collected in one tab and can be filtered by the app they came from.
- Contacts and favourites: browse your contacts, mark the people you call most, and open the dialpad to place a call in a tap.
- Themes and 23 languages: pick the look you prefer; the interface follows your language.

PERMISSIONS AND HOW THEY ARE USED
- Contacts: read on the device to put a name to an incoming or searched number. Your contacts are not uploaded to us.
- Notification access: used to list the messages you have not opened yet. Notification content stays on the device.
- Default caller ID & spam app role: lets Android hand incoming calls to Sentrik so it can screen the numbers on your lists.
- Phone: places the call when you tap a number inside the app.
- Battery optimisation exemption (optional): keeps screening running while the app is in the background.

- Sentrik is free to download and free to use. There is no subscription and no in-app purchase.
- The app is supported by advertising, including banner, native and full-screen ads. Where the law requires it, you are asked for your advertising consent choices first.

- Sentrik identifies callers by matching numbers against the contacts saved on your device. It does not use an online directory or a global spam database, so a number that is not in your contacts is shown as unknown.
- Call screening depends on Android's caller ID & spam role and needs Android 10 or newer; availability and behaviour vary by device and manufacturer.
