Orbitly is a family GPS location sharing app that keeps the people you care about connected on one live map — and it only works when everyone agrees to share.

Send an invite, wait for it to be accepted, and your circle appears on the map. No one is added silently: location sharing in Orbitly starts from a request the other person approves, and each member can stop sharing at any time.

■ HOW LOCATION IS USED

Orbitly needs location access to show your position on the shared map and to trigger the place alerts you set up. Background location is used only to keep those alerts working when the app is not open. You control what you share and with whom, and you can revoke sharing or the permission itself at any time in the app or in Android settings.
