Tránsito RD is an independent, collaborative app that lets you see real-time information about public transportation routes in the Dominican Republic on an interactive map.
Through the voluntary participation of users, the app shows the approximate location of active passengers on different routes, helping everyone know where the bus is and how long it will take to arrive.
How does it work?
Users traveling on public transportation can voluntarily share their location for a limited time. This information appears on the map so other users can see the progress of each route.
The more people participate, the more accurate and useful the information will be for everyone.
Tránsito RD operates collaboratively and does not depend on official data or government systems.

• Support for Santo Domingo, Santiago, and Barahona
• No registration or login required – anonymous 24-hour sessions
• Share your location for 5, 15, or 30 minutes
• Proximity validation: you can only share if you are near a route
• Filters by city and favorite routes
• Automatic dark mode
Privacy First:
Your location is only shared when you choose and for the duration you select.
We do not request accounts, emails, or personal data.
The information shared is anonymous and intended to help other passengers.
