Rama or Ram (राम) or Raamar is the seventh avatar of the God Vishnu in Hinduism, and a king of Ayodhya in Hindu scriptures. Along with Krishna, the eighth avatar of Vishnu, Rama is considered to be the most important avatar of Vishnu.
Ram Aarti completes the worship or prayers made to God. It is believed that aarti provides a completion to the puja. This aarti of Lord Shri Ram is also known as Ram Aarti.
Ramayana exercises a great molding power on the life of man. It contains object lessons for husbands and wives, parents and children, brothers and sisters, friends and enemies. it depicts the duties of relationships, portraying ideal characters like the ideal father, the ideal servant, the ideal brother, the ideal wife, and the ideal king.
Ramcharitmanas, for the first time in the history of North India, made available the story of Rama to the common man to sing, meditate and perform on. The writing of ramcharitmanas also heralded many a cultural tradition, most significantly that of the tradition of Ramlila, the dramatic enactment of the text.
The Ramayan is one of the largest ancient epics in world literature. It is comprised nearly 24,000 verses, divided into seven kandas and about 500 chapters. according to the Hindu Vedas and Puran ,it is also known as the Adikavyam .
Ramcharitmanas consists of seven Kāndas. Tulsidas compared the seven Kāndas of the epic to seven steps leading into the holy waters of Lake Manasarovar "which purifies the body and the soul at once".
