AP Transport Connect (APTC) is a logistics application built to provide real-time visibility into fleet operations. The application provides the features of fleet management, trips for tracking carriers, empty-carrier visibility, bidding, multiple modes of tracking. The purpose of the application is to improve supply-chain visibility to traders, transporters, and other logistics service users. Traders/Government Department, transporters, and drivers are the major stakeholders of the application.
User must sign-up(register) himself to use the application.
• Fleet Management: Includes carrier verification, driver verification, and Echallan listing. User may verify their vehicle details by providing vehicle number. User may verify driver license details and challan details by providing license number and vehicle number, respectively.
• Trips: Users may track their vehicles by creating trips from source to destination by providing vehicle number. User may track their vehicles by GPS/Sim based tracking.
• E-Bidding: Traders may create bids for their vehicle requirement and float the bid to transporters. The transporters will bid for the same. The trader then requests vehicles to the one with the lowest bid.
• Return Freight: This helps in increasing empty carrier visibility. The users may register their vehicles in the application by providing their vehicle details. The listed vehicles will be visible to users using the application and may book the same as per the requirement.
• Multimodal Cargo Tracking: Users can track their cargo through various modes of transport such as air (ACMES, ACCS, AAICLAS), ocean (SB, BOE, container), rail and road by providing appropriate input.
• Utility: This provides information of toll plazas from source to destination, nearby EV Charging stations and Blackspot and No entry details.
