How the Mobile App works?

The food order facility through its mobile app is another feather in TravelKhana’s Cap. It works in the following simple steps:

First, you can download the Travelkhana App from Playstore on your Smartphone. On the first page, enter the train number or name and station of departure or you can simply key in the PNR number of your ticket.

The site throws open options of the menu: Examples are Vegetarian thali, Non vegetarian Thali, Pizza, Jeera rice and curry, Veg and Non-Veg., Biryani, Tandoori Naan and Chicken/ Paneer Curry or individual items like Curd Rice, Curry, Vegetables, Rice, Naan, etc. which can be ordered separately. In most places, local delicacies are on the menu. Usually, there is a minimum size of order from Rs. 300 and upwards.

Now you can place an order and view the total order, before confirming the order. Next step is to Sign in by providing name, mobile number and e-mail ID. Now you will get an SMS from TravelKhana on your phone, and you have to enter this code on the next page. You must now provide coach number and seat number.

Next, you have to proceed to the payments section. The page will show total amount to be paid and payment options- mainly Cash on Delivery or Online via Visa, Master card or Diner’s Club International card. After you make payment, you will be redirected to your bank’s website to confirm the transaction.

Now you have completed the whole process, and all you need is to wait for the food that will be delivered piping hot and delicious.

Disappointed with the service. It was absolutely pathetic and worse. I had ordered for my food delivery but the train had left the station and still the food had not been delivered yet. On contacting help desk, there was no proper response to my request. Very poor customer service. I tried contacting the Help Desk again. The phone was switched off. Disappointing and upset with how they treat their customers. Please don't use this Service or you will be facing the same consequences. Terrible.

Very poor service and quality. These people cheat in the quality as well as menu also. I ordered thali with paneer veg but didn't get. Also the quantity of food was not proper and was less as promised in the menu. They don't even bother to pick up the call for addressing the issues customer faces. Even delivery boys charge extra over the bill amount saying they don't have the change. Very poor experience.

Bad experience once you pay online for the order they don't deliver the item. And while submitting feedback if you select 1 star and product undelivered they will show you "feedback failed to update". And app don't allow us to cancel the order. While selecting the "cancel order" again it's showing "no data available for given information". It's really pathetic.
