About this app

Saw the perfect café in a travel video? Don't let it disappear into your saved folder. Plotline turns the places you find online into a map you'll actually use — and a trip plan that walks you through them.

PASTE A LINK, GET THE PLACES
Share a travel video or paste a link to a post, a video or any travel page. Plotline watches it, finds every place it mentions and pins each one on your map with a photo and a short description. Keep the ones you like with a single tap.

YOUR PLACES, ON ONE MAP
• Every spot you save, on a map of your own
• Filter by what a place is: eat, drink, coffee, views, sights and things to do
• Add your own notes — what to order, when to go, who to ask for
• Mark favourites and the places you've already been
• Search everything you've saved, including your notes

PLAN A TRIP IN A FEW TAPS
Pick a city, choose how many days and tell Tripplot what you're there for — food, culture, nightlife, the outdoors, shopping or a slower pace. Add any spots you've already saved there, and Tripplot builds a day-by-day plan:
• Stops ordered by how far apart they are, so you're not criss-crossing the city
• Suggested times for each stop, with the walk between them
• Each day on a map, with numbered stops and the walking route
• Reorder stops, remove the ones you don't want, or ask for a day to be re-planned

READY-MADE CITY GUIDES
Not sure where to start? Browse ready-made day plans for popular cities and take one as your own starting point.

SIDEQUESTS
Got a free afternoon? Pick a mood, swipe through spots from your own map and get a ready-to-walk route for the day.

COLLECTIONS AND SHARING
• Group places into collections — a trip, a neighbourhood, or every good bakery you've found
• Share a collection with a link; friends can save a copy to their own map
• Invite friends to a trip and plan it together
