So many problems. I downloaded this for Mandarin Blueprint and wish I'd have just stuck with Anki. The app is slow and has refreshing issues. If when selecting the answer the app thinks you swiped it refreshes, closes you out and you have to go back in. Frustrating if you were only reviewing a subset of cards. I feel the only reason they use this app is so they cannot publicly release their flashcards. It's hard to edit cards in as well. 2 stars because it technically gets the job done.

Not a bad app, but taking into account how basic it is, it's very slow. I can't really figure out the reason for this, as other flashcard apps are generally very quick to load. It can also be a bit frustrating that it doesn't work offline. Further, it's not possible to: go back to a previous card, predict number of cards for the next day, adjust the algorithm, recategorize cards that might have been mistakenly marked "don't show again", or get any data regarding recall rate or time spent.

You can really tell it's just a desktop website crammed into an app. The UI is very unnatural to use. The thing that irks me the most is the fact that when your phone goes to sleep, when you turn it back on, this app takes the place of the lock screen. The home and the task view buttons are missing and the only way to get out of the app is to swipe down your notification menu and to press a button there. Then it will prompt you for your password. No way to disable this behavior in the app.
