Dowoomin: Korea Store Pickup

Travix

About this app

Why check five stores when one QR code will do?

Dowoomin is a shopping app for travelers in Korea. Order snacks, drinks, K-beauty, everyday supplies, and souvenirs from your phone, then collect them at a convenience store near where you are staying. That saves you the shop-to-shop hunt, and the moment at the counter where you are trying to explain what you want.

PLAN AHEAD: PICKUP STARTS FOUR DAYS OUT

Your order is shipped to the pickup store, so the earliest collection date is four days after you order. If your trip is short, order before you fly. You can set a collection date up to 30 days ahead, which makes it easy to line up with the day you land.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Add what you want to your cart. The whole app is in English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean.
2. Enter your accommodation address and pick your collection date. We confirm a pickup point nearby and send you a payment request.
3. Pay with PayPal. On the day you chose, show your QR code at the counter.

WHY TRAVELERS USE DOWOOMIN

• Pickup points are convenience stores across Korea, not only Seoul. Busan, Jeju, and smaller cities work the same way
• Collect near your hotel, guesthouse, or rental instead of crossing the city for one item
• Choose the collection day that fits your itinerary, so nothing sits in your luggage longer than it has to
• Nobody has to speak at pickup. Staff scan your QR code and hand you the bag
• Every price shows the Korean won amount with your own currency beside it, and you pay in US dollars (Japanese yen in the Japanese app)
• Order as a guest without creating an account. Your email and order number pull the order up later
• Push and email updates as your order moves from confirmed to ready for pickup

ABOUT PAYMENT

You order first. We confirm a pickup point near your accommodation, then send the payment request. PayPal handles the payment, so your card details never reach us.

NEED HELP?

Write to us from Contact Us inside the app, or read the FAQ first. We reply in English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean. Guest orders can be looked up too.
