Designed to help organisations meet their duty-of-care obligations and foster resilience, Sentinel enables users to stay informed, connected, and supported. The app supports employees wherever they are by providing real-time risk information, location-based alerts, and direct communication with their organisation's security or risk management team.
The app uses your location to deliver risk alerts and safety information relevant to where you are. If you choose to enable the optional location tracking feature, authorised security managers in your organisation can view your travel route in order to provide assistance when required. With this feature enabled, location data may also be collected while the app is running in the background – for example, when it's not actively open on screen – but only for the purposes described above. Location tracking is off by default and can be switched on or off at any time in Settings.
