StreetSample allows users to perform various field inspections, typically for pavement and asset management. GIS shapefiles are uploaded and displayed over aerial imagery, and the user's location is also shown in real time. Inspection photographs and comments can be placed at precise locations using the aerial imagery, user location, and measure tool. Photographs are automatically named based on the underlying sample unit identity, and all photograph and comment locations are exported as GIS pointfiles upon completion of each project. StreetSample allows multiple users to access the same or different projects concurrently, and tracks the percent complete of each project.
