It saves battery by using the Quick Doze as well as adaptively dropping framerate below the default which was set by the manufacturer. For Samsung devices: it works great. It also must be installed via ADB or some other method which goes through the phone. I had issues with getting it to acknowledge my device, so I prefer the ADB method.

The app is great and really does help with the battery life of any Samsung phone that supports 120hz and 60hz refresh rates. It seemlessly switches between the two to conserve your battery and adds hours to the run rate of the phone. You will never notice the change in frame rates and as a result, it's one of those apps that just sits in the background doing it's thing and helping you all day.

Just updated to the newest version today. Thank you very much for your continuation of keeping this app up to date. If it weren't for you this phone would suck! My Galaxy s24 ultra defaults to 24 frames a second in adaptive mode while watching any streaming services ,have you ever tried to watch a streaming service @24 FPS! It blows! You think Samsung would have issued a update to fix this.
