Outshine: Lamplighters is a quick game of light and territory. The sun is going down over a little canal town, and four lamplighters race to light it. Whoever has lit the most ground when the clock runs out wins.
Each round lasts sixty to ninety seconds. Walk the streets to gather drifting embers into your lantern, then stand still to plant it where its glow reaches farthest. Your color spreads across the cobbles, and the border between you and your rivals moves every time someone plants or snuffs a lantern.
Your three rivals are lamplighter bots, and they play by the same rules you do. Stand on a rival's lantern to snuff it out and take its ground, and hurry back to relight your own before it goes dark for good.
HOW TO PLAY
• Move with the joystick and walk over embers to fill your lantern
• Stop to plant a lantern and light the ground around it
• Light the street lamps and climb to the tower on the hill for a wider glow
• Stand on a rival's lantern to snuff it, and relight your own when a rival snuffs it
• Finish with the most lit ground to win the round

• Five teaching levels that show you each idea one at a time
• A long ladder of levels that grow from small villages to large towns, with three-star scoring on every win
• A daily challenge that everyone plays on the same town, with trophies that count toward a weekly total

• Six power-ups: Full Fuel makes your first three lanterns of each round full, Double Fuel makes every ember count twice, Instant Snuff puts out a rival's lantern the moment you step on it, Beacon makes your lanterns shine twice as far, Durability keeps each new lantern safe from snuffing for thirty seconds, and Through Walls lets your light shine straight through walls

• Plays offline, with no account and no sign-in
