About this app

Trimble® Mobile Manager is a configuration application for Trimble GNSS receivers as well as Trimble and Spectra Precision high accuracy handhelds. It is also a subscription licensing application for Trimble Catalyst GNSS services.

Use this app to configure and test your GNSS receiver, setup GNSS receivers for use with Trimble Precision SDK enabled apps, or connect to and share high precision positions with other applications which use Android Location Services.

This app is now compatible with the following receivers, handhelds and services:

  • Trimble Catalyst softGNSS positioning service

  • Trimble R Series receivers (R1, R2, etc.)

  • Trimble & Spectra Precision high accuracy handhelds (models TDC150 & SP20)

  • Trimble EMPOWER EM100 GNSS receiver (on supported Trimble Android host devices)

Using Trimble Catalyst with Trimble Mobile Manager
In conjunction with a subscription to the Trimble Catalyst™ GNSS positioning service, use this app to connect to and configure your Catalyst softGNSS receiver, monitor the status of the subscription, and control how GNSS positions are accessed or shared with other location-enabled apps running on your phone or tablet.

Note:A Catalyst DA1 antenna and a Trimble ID is required to use the Trimble Catalyst service. High accuracy modes (1-100cm) require a paid subscription to the Catalyst service. Visit for a list of subscription options and information on where to purchase.

Using Trimble or Spectra Precision high accuracy GNSS receivers with Trimble Mobile Manager
Trimble Mobile Manager now supports connecting to and configuring Trimble or Spectra Precision high accuracy GNSS receivers. Use the app to connect to external or integrated high accuracy receivers and share positions using the Android location sharing feature using Trimble Mobile Manager to pass high accuracy positions and valuable GNSS metadata from your receiver to the Android OS. You can also use Trimble Mobile Manager to configure the behaviour your GNSS receiver for field applications that support connecting to Trimble external GNSS devices.

Galaxy S22 Ultra. Accept all permissions and get white screen with "No Network Data Connectivity." Get the same thing on 2 different Galaxy S22 Ultra's. UPDATE: Trimble released app update shortly after I posted my first review. I can now open the app to connect to our catalyst receiver.

It is incredible how unreliable this piece of kit is. Every month there seems to be a new issue we have with it or another of the driving pieces of software. Out in the hills in scotland surveying today and third way through 50 assets it will not log in to the server, nothing can be done. Best of it is this a revisit after the other korec software that goes with it lost our data last month. Now that's two wasted visits to Scotland, not cheap, and twice we have had to let our client down.

Update: While we still have no idea as to the cause, a very helpful support member has been helping me track it down. It took about a week to get through to someone helpful, but they have impressed me with their CustServ👍5⭐ for effort. (OP:After I grant the three permissions it sticks on a "No network data connection" white screen of death. No sign in screen, no options to go into settings, nada. Doesn't matter if I'm on wifi or 5g LTE, and yes, my phone data is on and works/...)
